2010 was a big year for the School Health and Nutrition programme, they nearly doubled their programme outreach numbers from 2009: reaching over 5,290,859 children in 19 countries. School Health and Nutrition (SHN) are interventions that aim to improve the health and nutrition of school-age children, their related behaviors and skills, and consequently, their participation in school and education outcomes. This programme update describes the highlights from the programme in the past year, a programme overview, country updates, future programming, and events.
