In the past year, School Health and Nutrition’s portfolio continued to grow and improve, now reaching 2 million children in 20 countries in 2009. School Health and Nutrition (SHN) are interventions that aim to improve the health and nutrition of school-age children, their related behaviors and skills, and consequently, their participation in school and education outcomes. This programme update describes the highlights from the programme in the past year, a programme overview, country updates, and events.
