2015 to 2016 was a very exciting time for the School Health and Nutrition Program: they reached 4 million children in 44 countries. School Health and Nutrition (SHN) are interventions that aim to improve the health and nutrition of school-age children, their related behaviors and skills, and consequently, their participation in school and education outcomes. This programme update describes the highlights from the programme in the past year, a programme overview, country updates, and relevant events.
