Save the Children International
According to the UN, 274 million people will be in need of humanitarian assistance and protection in 2022. This number is unprecedented.
Children’s rights, and their chance at a future, are hanging by a thread. To meet these needs, we recognise that we need to scale-up the delivery of life-saving humanitarian assistance and protection to children and partner with local and national actors, INGOs, UN agencies and governments around the world. That is why Save the Children have launched our 2022 Humanitarian Response Plan which requires almost US$1 billion to reach approximately 30 million people in need, 15 million of whom are children. This response plan spans 37 countries and is the largest humanitarian appeal in the organisation’s history.
