Save the Children Sudan
In 2025, Sudan faced one of the world’s most severe humanitarian crises, marked by escalating conflict, mass displacement, and the near‑collapse of essential services. Despite these extraordinary challenges, Save the Children reached 3.7 million people—including 2.4 million children—with lifesaving health, nutrition, education, protection, WASH, food security, and shelter support across 14 states. Through strong local partnerships, a rapidly scaled workforce, and resilient supply chains, the organization delivered more than 530 tons of critical supplies, expanded access to primary health care and immunization, restored learning opportunities for over 320,000 children, strengthened community‑based protection systems, and supported families with cash, livelihoods, and climate‑resilient solutions.
This report highlights how Save the Children remained a steadfast presence for children and families in the world’s largest displacement crisis.
