Save the Children launches new partnership with PrimaKu to increase child vaccinations and combat malnutrition in Indonesia (2025)

With two-thirds of Indonesian children missing at least one routine vaccine and over 20% experiencing stunting, the collaboration aims to close critical health gaps by integrating PrimaKu’s technology-driven healthcare guidance, vaccination reminders, and nutrition support with Save the Children’s extensive community health networks. Evidence from the platform shows that children using PrimaKu complete vaccinations at more than triple the rate of non-users, and 96% avoid malnutrition, underscoring its potential for large-scale public health impact.

The partnership will expand PrimaKu’s reach into underserved and hard-to-access areas where Save the Children operates, combining digital innovation with community-based delivery to ensure more equitable access to child health services. Save the Children Global Ventures views this initiative as a model for scaling tech-enabled, community-centric healthcare solutions across Indonesia and, eventually, the Asia–Pacific region as part of its growing investment in healthcare innovation.
