Save the Children’s position on children and work [Position paper]

This document reveals the institutional position of Save the Children on child work and aims to become a referent model for this type of key theme. The common goal is to ensure that boys and girls are protected against harmful work – harm to health, development and education – and to find different responses for different forms of work for different working children. The paper includes sections on how children define work, their views on the reasons why they work and children’s views on the effects of work in their lives.
