August 12-14, 2016, Save the Children Sweden set up a meeting place for unaccompanied minors in the Stockholm region.
For three days, they attended workshops and discussion groups where the participants shared their stories about coming to Sweden and also gave feedback on how the reception system could be improved.
The main themes for discussion were education, living facilities, leisure time, contact with authorities, and the future. Their reflections were used by Save the Children Sweden as a basis for local advocacy work.
