Save the Children Sweden’s Development Academy 2018

Do Swedish politicians have the knowledge and experience needed to make the right decisions regarding today’s development challenges?

With this in mind, Save the Children Sweden launched the International Development Academy in collaboration with the Swedish Political Youth Leagues. The academy is intended for youth politicians, aiming to raise their knowledge and awareness of the development world. This video depicts the academy of 2018, which also included a field visit to Lebanon where participants got to meet youth to discuss youth participation and problems that result from the lack of child participation in decision-making.
