Sale of children, child prostitution and child pornography

This report of the UN Special Rapporteur on the sale of children, child prostitution and child pornography was presented on her behalf by the Secretary-General to the UN General Assembly. The report is in accordance with a pre-defined General Assembly resolution.

Najat Maalla M’jid held the mandate from May 2008 to May 2014. She was succeeded by Maud de Boer-Buquicchio. The present report provides information on her successor’s activities from August 2013 to May 2014 as well as her own activities from June to August 2014.

Activities include participation in the Human Rights Council, country visits, conferences, seminars, etc. This report also outlines the approach and scope of the incumbent Rapporteur’s approach to the sale of children, child prostitution and child pornography.
