Safe Schools Common Approach Action Pack 5: Monitoring, evaluation, and research guidance

The purpose of this pack is to provide guidance to help country offices design their Safe Schools monitoring, evaluation (M&E) and research plans. This action pack is meant to serve as guidance. It is expected that Country Offices will develop indicators linked to their specific programming objectives. The indicators in this Action Pack have been developed with this in mind – to support Country Offices in designing and developing results measurement and to support contextualization based on the specific hazards they will be addressing. Each level of the Safe School results framework (goal, long-term results, medium-term results, short-term results) has specific indicators assigned to them to measure the success of the implementation work. These indicators are therefore useful to use, as appropriate, but are not mandatory. If you do add or adapt indicators, then please share with the Child Protection and Education global teams so that they can be integrated into future versions of this document.
