The COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted the education of millions of children globally. When a child falls behind in their learning, it can have a devastating impact on their future life chances –and the impact is even greater for the most marginalised children. Some children may never have been in school, while others may have intermittent access, be at risk of dropping out, or have dropped out already.
