Resourcing Families for Better Nutrition: Common Approach

Undernutrition is associated with around half of all deaths of children under five and is a major infringement of a child’s right to grow up well-nourished and in good health. To help combat this, Save the Children has been pioneering an approach that involves combining regular cash transfers with nutrition-specific interventions during the critical first 1,000 days of life. This document summarises that approach, known as Resourcing Families for Better Nutrition (or Cash Plus for Nutrition).
