Save the Children Ethiopia

The “Resilience, Peace, and Protection for Children Affected by Conflict and Displacement in Ethiopia” project, funded by UNICEF and KOICA, was implemented by Save the Children from June 7, 2022, to December 6, 2024. Operational in Doyogena Woreda (Central Ethiopia) and Meda Welabu Woreda (Oromia Region), the project collaborated with local government offices to address the vulnerabilities of women and girls. It prioritized gender-specific child protection services and strengthened child protection systems, including social services, case management, and data systems, in line with international standards for both internally displaced persons (IDP) and host communities. This end-line evaluation report assesses the project against the OECD criteria: relevance, coherence, effectiveness, efficiency, impact, and sustainability in the two regions.
