Reproductive Health in Emergencies: Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health

Save the Children co-leads the adolescent sexual and reproductive (ASRH) sub-working group within the Inter-Agency Working Group on Reproductive Health in Crises (IAWG) and works with other group members to garner support for a roving ASRH specialist to increase prioritization of ASRH within humanitarian responses. The roving ASRH specialist has worked with family planning and post-abortion care (PAC) countries to institutionalize ASRH with support from family planning and PAC project funds.

This brief provides valuable information about providing quality ASRH services in difficult contexts, guidance on building capacity and institutionalization of ASRH in emergency contexts as well as lessons learned.
