Regional Child Rights Governance (CRG) Strategic Workshop East and Central Africa – 6 – 8 December 2010, Nairobi

This workshop was held for three main purposes: to engage the different Save the Children (SC) members in their understanding of Child Rights Governance (CRG) and integration of CRG in the other sectors (health, education, hunger reduction, humanitarian relief etc); to obtain information from regional and national partners e.g. Children’s Legal Action Network (CLAN), Child Rights Institute (CRI) and AMC in clarifying CRG trends, challenges and opportunities (SWOT analysis); and to inform regional partners and SC members about SC International’s (SCI) direction in terms of CRG.
