This document presents UNHCR’s strategy to promote refugee inclusion in and through education. The strategy aims to contribute directly to goals of the Global Compact on Refugees, including the goal of easing the pressures on host countries, enhancing refugee’s self-reliance and supporting the conditions in countries of origin for return in safety and dignity. 

UNHCR’s mission is to build a world where all refugees, including children and youth, have access to an equitable quality education that enables them to learn, thrive and develop their potential. build individual and collective resilience and contribute to peaceful coexistence and civil society.
