A regional publication that presents the winning entries of an Essay Contest on the problems of childhood and adolescence in Latin America, launched by the Institute for the Preparation of Educators for Youth, Adolescents and Child Workers in Latin America and the Caribbean (IFEJANT), Peru. The essays contribute to the knowledge of the reality and problems of childhood and adolescence in the region in their historical, social, and political contexts, and discuss courses of action vis-à-vis the existing problems.
