This material outlines the efforts of USAID’s Agency for All Project to address infertility-related stigma and improve reproductive agency in Cameroon and Kenya. The project employs context-specific social and behavior change (SBC) interventions, informed by formative research and behavioral theory, to support individuals in achieving their reproductive goals. Key activities include literature reviews, formative research, SBC intervention design, and pilot evaluations. Findings highlight the high prevalence of infertility-related stigma, gendered blame, and psychosocial impacts on affected individuals. The project aims to build evidence that increasing infertility knowledge and reducing stigma can enhance reproductive agency and shift attitudes and behaviors related to contraception and reproductive outcomes.
