Realizing the Future of Learning: From learning poverty to learning for everyone, everywhere

This report describes the World Bank Education Global Practice’s vision for the future of learning. It presents this vision to guide, inform, and inspire the design and implementation of national systemic efforts to build equitable, resilient education systems during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond, but it also emphasizes the need to lay the groundwork for achieving this vision based on where systems are today. Through visionary strategic action, it is hoped that policymakers and stakeholders around the globe will seize the opportunities this crisis presents to transform education systems so they can truly enable provide learning with joy, purpose, and rigor for everyone, everywhere.
