Rapid Damage Assessment of Kindergartens (KGs) in the Gaza Strip – Final Assessment Report (July 2026)

This report presents the findings of a rapid damage assessment of kindergartens across the Gaza Strip, commissioned by Save the Children and conducted by Universal Group for Engineering and Consulting in July 2026. Covering 649 identified kindergartens, the assessment examines infrastructure damage, operational status, safety risks, and rehabilitation needs through field assessments and secondary data. It provides damage classifications, geographical analysis, and estimated rehabilitation and reconstruction costs to support evidence-based recovery planning, resource allocation, and the restoration of safe early childhood learning environments.
