¡Queremos a nuestros padres! La conciliación laboral y familiar explicada por los niños y las niñas

A child-friendly booklet developed by Save the Children that shares children’s views and perspectives of Work-Life Balance in Spain.   What do children want from their parents and what kind of relationship do they wish for?  Revealing stories come from a group of children aged 6-14 who were asked what they thought of their day-to-day relationship with their parents, how they would act if they themselves were parents, what they believe causes conflict at home and how to best deal with it.  The children were also asked to find solutions to improve communication with their parents and extended family and to make relationships more convivial.

 Save the Children emphasises the need to review and improve rules and policies on reconciling work and family life in Spain, in order to protect children better and enhance their rights.
