Quality Learning Environment Tools

Save the Children’s Quality Learning Environment (QLE) is a framework for assessing, designing, monitoring and evaluating education programmes. The QLE framework supports a holistic approach to delivering quality education in early childhood care and development and basic education settings, in both development and emergency contexts. In essence, the QLE framework aims to promote a high quality learning environment and, consequently, better learning outcomes for all children. The QLE framework was introduced in 2010 and contains a set of standards that aims at comprehensively assess the quality of the learning environments in primary schools
