Psychosocial Care in Disaster Management: Facilitation manual for trainers of trainees in natural disasters

This facilitation manual is designed to enhance training on psychosocial care and capacity building around integrated care and normalization of individual and group reactions to disaster experiences. This comprehensive document incorporates practical examples learnt while training varied community level workers who were involved in providing psychosocial care during natural disasters across the country. The specific issues of women and children and their increased vulnerabilities because of the disaster have also been elucidated in detail. Self-care through different techniques to harmonize personal, familial and professional life has been addressed in detail.
