The Protection in Practice Training package is a training of trainers (ToT) designed to:
• Foster a common vision of protection and develop capacity to respond to the identified gaps in protection response
• Enhance protection technical knowledge of cluster coordinators
• Promote application of protection principles throughout the humanitarian response
• Increase capacity to lead and support more effective subcluster coordination by protection cluster coordinators
• Create a pool of solid trainers in IDPs protection
• Demonstrate the application of adult learning theory to develop learning activities on protection
• Enhance training skills on protection of protection cluster coordinators and co leads
• Support protection cluster coordinators in capacity building of protection cluster members and relevant stakeholders
• Support the utilisation of the Protection in Practice Training Package and its roll-out in humanitarian operations.
