The Protection of Minors Against Excesses of Sects

This is a provisional version of Resolution 1992 from the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. 

This resolution addresses child protection guidelines in instances where the excesses of religious sects lead to exploitation and abuse of or trafficking in children, or disregard for their rights in the framework of judicial proceedings. 

One of the suggested outcomes is for national parliaments to set up study groups on the protection of minors, in particular those beloning to religious minorities.
