A case study of Save the Children’s work in Jordan in relation to child protection and family strengthening. This report focuses on the protection of children and women from violence in Jordan through the support to civil society.
This innovative programme, which started by Save the Children Denmark in 2005 and initially focused on addressing issues related to domestic violence, has now expanded to new areas of work, such as alternative care for children, outreach to refugees, juvenile policies, etc.
A separate case study has also been published, with focus on Save the Children’s work with the Government of Jordan to develop a collaborative multi-disciplinary child protection system.
