Protección de niños, niñas y adolescentes en contextos de migración: Manual de aplicación de estándares internacionales y regionales de derechos humanos

El manual describe las múltiples situaciones en que se pueden encontrar los niños, niñas y adolescentes que migran, y explica sus necesidades diferenciales de protección. También refiere a los principios que deben guiar la actuación de funcionarios y funcionarias, tanto del ámbito migratorio como de protección de la infancia, y del personal de las organizaciones de la sociedad civil. Por último, sugiere un conjunto de indicadores para identificar las distintas situaciones, y propone pautas concretas para la adopción de medidas ante cada una de éstas.

The handbook describes the many situations that migrant children and adolescents may find themselves in, and explains their differential protection needs. It also refers to the principles that should guide the actions of officials, both in the field of migration and child protection, and the staff of civil society organizations. Finally, it suggests a set of indicators to identify the different situations, and proposes concrete guidelines for the adoption of measures in each of these situations.
