The “Integrated Multisectoral Assistance for Conflict Affected Vulnerable Populations in Greater Maiduguri (BHA MMC and Jere – 2022)” project is a crucial continuation of the lifesaving assistance, funded by the Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance at the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The humanitarian situation in Borno State, Nigeria, has been deteriorating, and the increasing insecurity has left more than 1.6 million internally displaced persons (IDPs) struggling to meet their basic needs. In response, Save the Children International is addressing this situation, in partnership with Family Health International (FHI 360), Green Concern for Development (GreenCode), and Ekklesiyar Yan’uwa a Nigeria (EYN), to implement a comprehensive humanitarian response that includes food assistance, cash, nutrition, health, protection, shelter, and WASH. This report captures the lessons learned from the implementation of the project in Borno, Nigeria.
