Save the Children
Save the Children-USA has been working to prevent the spread of HIV infection among at-risk youth in
Vietnam through a program called Project N.A.M. Project NAM uses an adaptation of Instituto Promundo’s Program H curriculum with peer educators to reach young men and women in vocational schools and youth in street-based settings. The curriculum has 26 sessions on topics related to HIV prevention including relationships, sexual health, and substance use. Reflection on gender norms is integrated into each session. Sessions are structured to include information, an interactive activity, and group discussion.
