Presentation: High Level expert consultation on tackling violence in schools, Oslo, 27-28 June 2011

A presentation given to the High Level Expert Consultation on tackling violence in schools, held in Oslo, 27-28 June 2011, in the framework of Save the Children’s education project “Violence against children in schools”.The presentation includes a series of recommendations to stop school violence and demonstrates how to take the next steps in the prevention of violence against children in school settings – from legislative changes to positive discipline training for teachers, and reaching out to families and communities to work together in tackling this serious issue.
