Presentation: High Level expert consultation on tackling violence in schools, Oslo, 27-28 June 2011. Regional perspective from South Eastern Europe (SEE), and Albania

Save the Children Albania’s contribution to the High-Level Expert Consultation on Tackling Violence in Schools, which took place in Oslo, 27 –28 June 2011. The presentation was delivered in the framework of Save the Children’s education project “Violence against children in schools”, which actively involves students, families and teachers in the struggle to reduce the use of violence in schools. It provides an overview on the issue of violence against children – which continues to be present in schools throughout the region – and on the coping strategies to deal with, and respond to, the effects of violence on children.
