This exhibition is part of “Rights Amplified: Inclusive Development and Social Inclusion for Children, Youth and Families Most Impacted by Discrimination in Kosovo”, a project funded by the European Union Office in Kosovo and implemented by Save the Children Kosova/o. The project aims to enhance the well-being and rights of children, youth, women, and survivors of gender-based and domestic violence, as well as children and youth with disabilities across seven municipalities. It works to strengthen gender responsive social protection services while empowering those most affected by inequality and discrimination to claim their rights and participate fully in society.
As part of this initiative, the Photovoice participatory research brought together 10 young people aged 15 – 17 from diverse backgrounds to explore themes of identity and intersectionality through photography. Over several months, participants gained
technical photography skills, reflected deeply on their personal experiences, and used the camera as a tool for self-expression and social commentary. With workshops and mentoring sessions, they created powerful visual narratives that speak to their lived
realities—illuminating the ways in which identity shapes and is shaped by the world around them. This exhibition is a celebration of their voices, perspectives, and the transformative power of art to advocate for inclusion, dignity, and rights for all.
