Perspectives of Adolescent Girls and their Parents in understanding drivers of Early Marriage

This brief summarizes the findings and recommendations of formative research as part of the evaluation of the More Than Brides Alliance “Marriage: No child’s Play” program in India. It describes the situation of adolescent girls, the family and community level influences that encourage child marriage, and the barriers to follow an alternative path.
