This interpretative study is centered on the cooperation between international non-governmental organisations and local organisations through the interview of more than 100 local and INGOs in 1999 in five countries (Bosnia, Mozambique, Pakistan, Palestine, and Sudan). The team of researchers studied themes such as capacity building, funding, and cooperation, as well as the structure of these partnerships between the two actors. Finally, recommendations are provided.
