Partnership Package for Local Civil Society Organisations: Save the Children UK, Ethiopia Programme

As part of a new strategy to improve the integration of child rights programming into the Save the Children UK Ethiopia Programme, increased engagement with civil society and local organizations has been identified as one the priority areas. Moreover, Save the Children UK recognizes the potential importance of working in partnerships with local Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) for bringing greater impact in realizing children’s rights in Ethiopia. To engage with local CSOs in a more strategic and sustainable manner to achieve greater impact and change for children, Save the Children UK Ethiopia Programme underlined the importance of having a comprehensive partnership package that contains strategies, approaches, tools and guidelines for partnership with local CSOs. To this effect, it developed this partnership package to guide its partnership work with local CSOs in Ethiopia.
