Out from the shadows: Sexual violence against children with disabilities

A report that sheds light on the shocking issue of sexual violence against children with disabilities. All over the world, children with disabilities are suffering from sexual violence at the hands of perpetrators who operate with almost total impunity. Almost as shocking as the abuse itself is the fact that so little is known about it. This report seeks to make the issue of sexual violence against children with disabilities more visible and to challenge governments and communities, including the international community, to tackle it head on.
