Save the Children New Zealand
Save the Children’s goal is to ensure that by 2030 no child dies of preventable causes before their fifth birthday, every child has the opportunity to learn to read and write, and all children are protected from violence.
In 2016, Save the Children New Zealand reached thousands of children in some of the poorest and most remote parts of the globe. Children who couldn’t read are now learning to read and write. Children who have lived through disasters have received food, life-saving aid, and support. Children who live in disaster-prone areas are learning how to prepare for and survive these challenges.
This Impact Report outlines the money we have raised for and invested in each project and region in 2016. We also highlight the key impacts we have achieved for children since each project began.
