This two-page fact sheet provides an overview of Save the Children’s localization efforts and outlines how localization leads to better outcomes for children.

Localization is the process through which local and national actors are better engaged in the planning and delivery of development and humanitarian programming. Save the Children believe that, by shifting ownership to local actors, it will result in better results for the most vulnerable and marginalized communities.
