The restrictions on movement imposed as a result of the COVID-19 crisis constitute one of the largest global challenges ever encountered by the humanitarian community. Maintaining continuity and quality in the delivery of essential protection services in the face of these restrictions requires operations to quickly innovate and adapt to the situation.
This note and collection of case studies aim to assist operations facing restrictions that partially or completely restrict the direct access to persons of concern. It shares a range of practical tips on remote protection of adults and children, drawing from past and present field practice.
