This report examines the results of an endline student background survey and numeracy assessment conducted between June 12th and 21st, 2013, as part of Save the Children’s Numeracy Boost program, and then compares those results to the results from the baseline data collected in October 2012.
The Numeracy Boost program addresses math learning both inside and outside the classroom through a three-pronged approach: students are assessed to gauge their math skills, teachers are trained in math content and pedagogy, and families are shown how they can support math learning in the home.
