This case study looks at the situation of separated Congolese refugee children living in Dar es Salaam. The research reveals that the separated Congolese refugee boys and girls face many of the same problems as their urban peers still living with their parents, though their situation tends to be more severe and they are particularly vulnerable to prejudice and unequal treatment
