Five months after the Government of Kenya announced its decision to close Dadaab and accelerate the voluntary repatriation of Somali refugees in safety and dignity to liberated areas and safe locations within Somalia, the Dadaab refugee population is living in a state of fear and confusion.
Amidst this confusion, children have no say in decisions being made that affect their right to education, protection and assistance, and ultimately their future. This brief outlines Save the Children’s call to action to protect the refugee children in the Dadaab camp.
