This issue includes highlights from the workshop “The Role of National Human Rights Structure in the Protection and Promotion of the Rights of Children in Care” (Tallinn), taking place in the framework of the “Peer-to-Peer II project” of the Council of Europe and the European Union, aimed at promoting independent national non-judicial mechanisms for the protection of human rights, especially for the prevention of torture.
