It will help in identifying the maternal health activities and responsibilities of service providers according to the level of facilities, provide a clear understanding of the set of competencies and readiness needed for delivering quality maternal and newborn health services and help to strengthen referral linkages, community engagement, and supervision, monitoring and mentoring.
