My Hero is You: Storybook for children on COVID-19

This is a storybook for children on COVID-19. It was developed by the Inter-Agency Standing Committee Reference Group on Mental Health and Psychosocial Support in Emergency Settings. The project was supported by global, regional and country-based experts, but also parents, caregivers, teachers and children in 104 countries.

‘My Hero is You’ should be read by an adult alongside a child or a small group of children. It is not encouraged for children to read this book alone without the support of a parent, caregiver or teacher. It includes information on hygiene and safety routines, but also tips on how to deal with emotions that can arise from the current situation.
