Action Against Hunger (AAH) developed this guideline on the process to contribute to the development and use of a surveillance system, providing detailed lists of cross-cutting and multi-sectoral indicators and recommendations on sampling methods. The purpose of developing a multi-sectoral surveillance system alert system, is to provide early warnings on emerging threats in order to allow cross-cutting, adaptive programming in COVID-19 context.
