Multisectoral Needs Assessement in DRC

This assessment of needs was carried out by the four members of the consortium in the three provinces of: North Kivu, South Kivu and Ituri. This assessment aims at providing a rapid overview of the humanitarian situation in eastern DRC in order to identify the immediate impacts of the crisis, to make initial estimates of the assistance needs of the affected population and to define priorities for humanitarian action.

This assessment of needs focused on certain sectors that generally affect the lives of vulnerable people during a humanitarian crisis: health, child protection, protection against GBV, water, hygiene and sanitation, nutrition, food security and livelihoods, and education.
