Mozambique Protection Cluster’s Guidance Note on Prevention and Mitigation of COVID-19

There is insufficient research on COVID-19 to make conclusions on the susceptibility of children to the disease. However, children remain vulnerable during infectious disease outbreaks, both because of risk of illness but also due to disruptions to their family life, access to education and other vital services. 

This guidance note aims to support a holistic, people-centred approach to humanitarian work during the COVID-19 response, and outlines the key considerations of the Protection Cluster in Mozambique.
