More Than Brides Alliance: Giving girls a voice and a choice

The More Than Brides Alliance brings together international partners including Save the Children and local civil society groups to empower girls to decide if and when to get married and to make informed choices about their sexual and reproductive health and rights.

This briefing presents the Alliance’s theory of change and core strategies including: empowering at -risk and already-married adolescents with Life Skills Education, Comprehensive Sexuality Education, and/or Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights information; providing alternative life paths and; creating an enabling environment.
